Video Technician / Operator

Job Overview

Responsible for setup, maintenance and operation of A/V for Bongo’s Bingo live events. This is a

key position to support and be part of a team that is aiming to operate over 2000 events in 2023,

across the UK and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Arrive two hours before doors to troubleshoot issues.

• Setup NDI and Resolume ready for doors to open with correct advertising and Instagram

for hosts and dancers.

• Load correct content into Resolume for prizes and number specific calls.

• Speak to hosts prior to doors about show specific cues.

• Oversee A/V throughout the show and be alert.

• Use Basecamp to check on your event times, travel and accommodation.

• Reporting on events, necessary for assessment and improvement.

• Follow strict no alcohol during show policy.

Essentials

• Knowledge of Bongo’s Bingo and the format of the show.

• Proficient knowledge of Resolume, NDI and Networking.

• Experienced at troubleshooting and problem solving in-show environment.

• Understanding of file formats and how to convert them i.e. JPEG to PNG / .MOV to .MP4.

• Ability to fit into our outgoing show team.

• Approachable manner when working with Bongo’s Bingo staff and inhouse technical staff.

• Flexible availability for show bookings and traveling.

• Willingness to constantly learn and improve.
