1.2. By purchasing tickets, this signifies that you agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms and conditions.
1.3. Although we will make a reasonable effort to notify you of any changes to our terms and conditions (by email or notice on the website/ social media platforms) it is your responsibility to check this document from time to time to ensure you are up to date.
1.4. By using or browsing our website, social media platforms or attending any of our events you agree to follow and adhere to the following terms and conditions.
2.1. By purchasing tickets you warrant that:
- You are entering a legally binding contract.
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are not party to a current self-exclusion agreement with any other licensed gambling operator.
- To check all personal details are correct when purchasing your tickets.
- To check you are purchasing tickets for the correct date and/ or venue. Tickets will not be refunded, compensated or transferred if this is incorrect.
- To arrive at the event on time as stated on the ticket. Although we will make efforts to accommodate late comers, entry is not guaranteed and you will not be refunded.
- To comply with all venue regulations when attending the event.
2.4. The venue reserve the right to refuse admission or remove you from the premises if you:
- Compromise the safety or yourself or others.
- Are affecting the enjoyment of others.
- Are affecting the running of the event. For example, if you are acting aggressively or appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/ or drugs.
Should any of the above occur, you will not be entitled to a refund or compensation.2.6. Intellectual property: You agree by attending our events you are doing so on a non-commercial basis and will not replicate or copy our format, slogans or characters. You also agree not to use or copy any of our artwork, photos, videos, text, graphics, designs, structures and all other intellectual property relating to our digital assets. Any photos or film footage is not to be used for commercial purposes
3.1. We are not legally liable for prizes once they have exchanged hands from the event organisers to the customer.
3.2. You will not be awarded the monetary value of the prize under any circumstances.
3.3. We are not responsible for any issues that arise with third parties which supply prizes, which have been purchased or donated.
3.4. If you wish to leave your prize at the venue you may leave your information with a member of venue staff. Please note that we cannot be held responsible for the prize being damaged or lost during this time and the venue will only hold your prize for 48 hours.
3.5 Do not dance on the tables and benches.
3.6 Please note our show includes references to sex and drugs throughout.
3.7 In the event that you are selected to take part in the onstage activity as part of a dance off or prize giving this is done so at your own risk.
3.8 Epilepsy Warning
A very small percentage of people may experience a seizure when exposed to certain visual images, including flashing lights or patterns that may appear in our shows. Even people who have no history of seizures or epilepsy may have an undiagnosed condition that can cause these “photosensitive epileptic seizures” during the show due to our lighting and production.
These seizures may have a variety of symptoms, including lightheadedness, altered vision, eye or face twitching, jerking or shaking of arms or legs, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Seizures may also cause loss of consciousness or convulsions that can lead to injury from falling or striking nearby objects.
Immediately stop playing and consult someone from our team if you experience any of these symptoms.
4.1. We endeavour to provide access to our website using our reasonable skill and care, however we cannot guarantee that this will be continuous and uninterrupted.
4.2. We are not responsible for you failing to secure tickets.
4.3. You warrant that the tickets are purchased for personal use only. You may not use your tickets for any commercial or business activity unless provided with written authorisation from the company. You may not resell your tickets at a premium in order to make personal profit. Any attempt to do so will result in these tickets being cancelled without refund or compensation.
4.4. We cannot guarantee that any of our additional services, such as reserving a table, will be available and we will not refund or compensate your tickets if this is the case.
4.5. We are only able to offer refunds in the case of a cancelled show.
4.6. COVID 19; For any postponed events booked via the Bongo's Bingo website or app, credit for the same value of your booking (including booking fee) will appear on your Bongo's Bingo account within 30 days of the postponed event. Affected ticket holders will be given advanced access to future events for any Bongo's Bingo at any UK location. This credit must be redeemed within 9 months of the credit being paid into your Bongo's Bingo account.
4.7. By purchasing a ticket and/ or entering our events you agree to be recorded by us or agreed third parties to be used for our own promotional/ marketing materials or by approved third parties.
4.8. In some venues where CCTV is in operation images are also used for the purposes of safety and security.
4.9. By purchasing tickets and entering our events you agree that you understand the cost breakdown of the ticket you are entering with.
4.9.1. Your gambling stake reflects the prizes we give in the venue (per week) and the capacity of the room. This covers your book and pen, allowing you to play bingo. All gambling stakes will be pooled together and 100% will make up part of the event’s total prize fund.
4.9.2. The event ticket cost is for the entertainment and any performances that take place on the night.
4.10. You have the right only to a seat of a value corresponding to that stated on your ticket. We reserve the right to find you provide alternative seats to those originally allocated to you. You may not sit in a seat or section that has not been allocated to you by us.
NoteAll our venues operate a Challenge 25 policy during the operation of Bongo’s Bingo events and if you are fortunate to look under 25 years of age please be aware that you could be asked for proof of age before being permitted access to our events
Bongo’s Cocktail Challenge Terms and Conditions1. Background
Bongo’s Bingo Limited (“Bongo’s Bingo”) will host a competition from 22.05.2020 until 14.06.2020 in partnership with Hi-Spirits Limited. One (1) winner will be announced by 20.06.2020.
1.1. Bongo’s Bingo will award the Prize (defined below) to the Winner selected during the Event, subject to Event Terms and Conditions, together with the terms and conditions relating to the Prize “Jonny’s Cocktail Challenge” Terms and Conditions”.
1.2. By partaking in the Event and by accepting the Prize, you agree to enter to be bound by these Prize Terms and Conditions and Bongo’s Bingo website terms and conditions.
2.1. The Prize shall mean:
2.2. One (1) Unicorn Cuddly Toy, One (1) Retro Space Hopper, One (1) Inflatable Dinosaur Costume, one (1) Henry Hoover. One (1) branded Southern Comfort Denim Jacket, four (4) Southern Comfort branded hats, One (1) Bottle of Southern Comfort Original, One (1) ‘Southern Comfort cocktail kit’ (inc. shaker, jigger, strainer)
2.3. Four (4) Tickets for the Winner and three (3) companions to any Bongo’s Bingo party in the UK, subject to availability. Tickets must be used by April 2021.
2.4. £80 drinks voucher to be used at the venue bar. No change will be given from the drinks voucher. The venue reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to the winner or companions.
2.5. Bongo’s Bingo will liaise with the Winner in order to send out the prizes referenced in 2.2 to the winner’s UK address. Bongo’s Bingo shall also liaise with the Winner to determine the dates and timing for the Bongo’s Bingo event referenced in 2.3.
2.6. The Prize is subject to availability.
2.7. The Prize does not include personal expenditure or incidental costs. Bongo’s Bingo or Hi-Spirits Limited Southern Comfort accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize that are not provided or expressly included.
2.8. It is the responsibility of the Winner and their three (3) companions to arrange travel to and from the Bongo’s Bingo event.
2.9. If the Bongo’s Bingo event is postponed, alternative date options will be provided.
2.10. The Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable and the Winner cannot request any alternative prize (cash or otherwise).
2.11. Bongo’s Bingo reserves the sole right to amend and/or change the prizes.
2.12. There will be one (1) winner announced (and they will choose three (3) companions who they would like to accompany them at the Bongo’s Bingo event).
2.13. The Winner and their companions must be at least 18 years of age. Bongo’s Bingo reserves the right to obtain proof of such consent and to choose another Winner if such proof, where requested, has not been given.
2.14. The Winner and their companions must be located and live in the UK.
3.1. Participants must be aged 18+.
3.2. Participants are to submit their entry photo or video entry by emailing it to firstname.lastname@example.org or via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter by tagging @BongosBingo and/or @SouthernComfortUK.
3.3. Entry must show the cocktail along with a Southern Comfort bottle and the cocktails unique name.
3.4. One (1) entry accepted per person.
4.1. Jonny Bongo will select one winner who will be entitled to the prize identified in section 2.
4.2. Only one (1) entry will be accepted per person.
4.3. The winner must show legitimate proof of age (eg. Valid driving license, passport) upon winning the competition and before receiving the prize.
4.4. The winner will be contacted by Bongo’s Bingo and they will have one (1) week to respond with their details in order for the prize to be allocated.
4.5. If the winner does not respond within one (1) week, a new winner will be selected by Bongo’s Bingo.
4.6. The prize will not be offered to employees or contractors of Bongo’s Bingo or Hi-Spirits Limited, or any person directly or indirectly involved with the organisation or running of the competition.
5.1. In relation to these Prize Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim which may arise out of or in connection with the Competition or these terms.
