Here at Bongo’s Bingo, we pride ourselves on being an all inclusive event that appeals to everyone. For those few hours at our show, we want each and every customer to be able to forget the outside world and engross themselves in our show with pure, unadulterated joy. 

Unfortunately, we know all too well that things can’t always be this way. Life can be extremely hard for many people, not just in the UK but all around the world. What gives us hope is that there are hundreds of thousands of people who are willing to give up both their time and money to lend a helping hand and support those that need it.

For that reason, we’d like to introduce the Bongo’s Bingo charity of the month.

Each month, we will partner with a different charity to focus on and highlight not just the incredible work they do, but more importantly the reasons why they do what they do. Our customers come from all walks of life and from every generation. By using our platform to raise awareness for these incredibly important charities, we’re hoping to reach people they usually wouldn’t and hopefully help people get the support they need. 

This month, we have partnered with LDAS - LIverpool Domestic Abuse Service.

Liverpool Domestic Abuse Service is a grassroots, community-based service that specialises in supporting women and girls who have experienced domestic abuse. 

They support survivors of abuse who are at different points on their journey to living a life free from abuse. They support women and girls who don’t fully understand what is happening to them, those who are not ready to leave their relationship, those thinking about leaving, those who have recently left and those for whom the abuse was many years ago.

Their services have been designed to meet the needs of all survivors and with an appreciation of one size may not fit all. The services they offer are frequently adapted in response to feedback received from our survivor panel, such as group programmes, one-to-one support, counselling and enterprise hub.
