Marko Polo

Born in the small nation of Gibraltar, after a youth spent living and travelling throughout Europe, I decided to settle in the city of Liverpool and dedicate my life to performance. 

Before Bongo's Bingo I was an actor for 10 years, predominantly working with and performing adaptations of Shakespeare's work. I was also an audio engineer and sound technician for various theatre companies, all skills that have helped at the Bingo.

After a spell travelling the jungles of South America in 2021, I joined the Bingo in April 2022 as a dancer, donning the plaits and dress to become Donna Rea. I've pranced and danced everywhere from here to Dubai.

In March 2025 I was made an offer I couldn't refuse; to learn under the tutelage of Jimmy Sweets so that I could host for Bongo's Bingo. And thus, Marko Polo was born.
